Carolyn Gevinski is a journalist and poet based in New York. Her work has been featured in El País, The Florida Tributary, GLAMOUR UK, Al Jazeera English, and Out Magazine. In 2024, she cofounded Grassroots Magazine, New York City's first news outlet dedicated exclusively to coverage of grassroots movements. She has a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, where she currently works as a postgraduate investigative fellow.
Her poetry has been published in Across the Margin, Prosetrics, After/Thought Literary, and Lavender Review. She has forthcoming works in Writers Resist, Academy of the Heart and Mind, Scapegoat Literary, and Book of Matches.
